My client are a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor who have gained an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality Mechanical and Electrical projects across the UK.

They provide a full range of mechanical and electrical services across the public and private sectors delivering projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and leisure sectors.

They are seeking a talented Electrical Estimator to join their team.

As an Electrical Estimator, your duties will include:

Reviewing agreed tenders, analysing specifications, and designs to complete take offs
Calculating the cost of materials, labour, and prelims
Obtaining quotes from specialist or named suppliers
Communication with clients to manage needs and expectations
Visiting prospective sites to support tender bids
Collaborating closely with other team members within the company to compile and submit tender bids.
Gathering tender information and producing tender documents.Requirements:

Knowledge of the Electrical and / or Mechanical sector is advantageous but not essential.
