Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts, delivering outstanding service and support.

* Expert Guidance: Provide detailed product information and advice to assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts for their needs.

* Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong customer relationships by understanding their requirements and offering tailored solutions.

* Order Management: Prepare and process sales orders, quotations, and invoices efficiently to ensure smooth transactions.

* Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of parts to customers.

* Backorder Tracking: Monitor and follow up on backorders, keeping customers informed of their order status to ensure satisfaction.

* Inventory Oversight: Stay informed about inventory levels and product availability, collaborating with the inventory team to manage stock and reorder as needed.

* Sales Strategy: Identify slow-moving stock and proactively suggest strategies to enhance sales of these items.

Required Experience and Skills:

* Demonstrable experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the automotive or heavy equipment sectors.

* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand technical product information.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with CRM or ERP systems.

* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
