We are searching for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our client, an international Tier 1 contractor. The contractor specializes in the infrastructure sector for transportation and mobility, operating across four divisions: Highways, Airports, Construction, and Mobility & Energy Infrastructure.

You will be working on a major rail project in central London, with a focus on the infrastructure aspect of the framework. This represents a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a Tier 1 contractor on one of the UK's most significant ongoing infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will:

* Prepare and agree on variation accounts, monitor costs, and track progress against plans.

* Contribute to change control procedures and manage contractual issues.

* Prepare valuations, final accounts, and handle subcontractor payments.

* Provide expert contractual advice and ensure legal compliance.

* Support Quantity Surveyors in identifying and managing commercial risks.

To be successful, you will have:

* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification.

* A passion for Quantity Surveying and a genuine eagerness to learn and improve your skills.

* Proven experience in delivering positive commercial outcomes on major projects.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A methodical and detail-oriented approach.
