A leading environmental and geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing office in Greater Manchester

We're engaged in a broad spectrum of projects, including residential developments, renewable energy projects like solar and wind farms, and much more.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and overseeing the preparation of Phase 1/2 Environmental Site Assessment Reports.
Conducting and reviewing Mining Risk Assessments.
Developing Remediation Strategies and Validation Reports.
Performing Geotechnical Assessments, including bearing capacity and settlement calculations.
Undertaking ground gas assessments, mining studies, and analyzing the significance of soil and groundwater contamination data.
Managing and mentoring junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of work are maintained.
Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.What We Offer:

A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2 or more years of experience in geo-environmental consulting..
Strong technical skills in geotechnical assessment, environmental risk assessment, and remediation strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
A passion for environmental protection and improvement.
Valid driving licence is required
