CNC Miller 
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join a well know precision engineering company who are based in the Portsmouth area. As a CNC Miller Programmer, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and programming mills using Fanuc system to produce high-quality precision parts.

CNC Miller Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills to produce parts in accordance with blueprints and engineering drawings
Program CNC mills using Fanuc system to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
Maintain a clean and organized work environmentQualifications
Proven experience as a CNC miller and programmer
Proficiency in programming using Fanuc system
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and quality
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of machine tooling and cutting parameters
Experience with CNC mill setup and operation is preferred
Knowledge of G-code and M-code is a plusDay-to-Day
Set up CNC mills and program using Fanuc system
Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
Collaborate with colleagues to optimize manufacturing processes
