Job Title: Architect (Technical Bias)

Salary: £35,000-45,000 dependent on experience

I am delighted to be recruiting for a successful Architectural Practice who have a diverse portfolio spanning multiple sectors with specialised focus on the residential and retirement sectors. They work alongside some of the National housing developers and utilise their 40+ years in the industry to deliver innovative designs. They are seeking a driven and passionate Architect with a technical bias to join a friendly team of 70 split across three thriving offices. You will be joining their friendly and supportive office near Southampton. The successful Architect will have extensive post qualification experience, working on large scale residential and mixed use projects with excellent technical expertise, proficiency in Revit and keen to input to practice growth.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Technical Architect:

• Substantial post-qualification experience
• ARB registered
• Proven record of working on residential and mixed-use projects
• Experience working with housing developers
• Strong technical expertise
• Confident across RIBA stages 3-6
• Thorough understanding of architectural processes for CDM procedures
• Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
• Awareness of NBS specifications
• Attentiveness to detail
• Ideally experience in contract and project management
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well within a team
• Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
• Live an easy commute to surrounding Southampton area
