Role Summary

As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will be a vital part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality PCBs that meet each project's unique specifications. Working closely with design engineers, you will create complex, high-reliability PCBs for mission-critical products, often within tight timelines. This position requires a seasoned PCB layout expert with a proactive mindset and strong skills in production, design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate within a cross-functional team to design robust PCB layouts that meet specific project goals.

* Partner with mechanical designers to ensure mechanical and thermal design compatibility.

* Maintain regular communication with PCB manufacturers to clarify requirements and address production issues.

* Conduct in-depth analysis and reviews of analog and digital circuits.

* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process development.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential

* Proven PCB design experience with meticulous attention to detail.

* Proficiency in Altium Designer.

* Experience producing layouts to IPC 2221 Class 3 standards.

* Solid understanding of component and industry standards.

* Adaptable, fast learner with effective communication skills to meet demanding customer needs.

Desirable

* Experience in product design and verification.

* Familiarity with design lifecycle best practices, including gated design phases and design reviews.

* IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) qualification.

* Knowledge of Zuken Cadstar software.
