We are working on behalf as a established Fostering Agency with an Ofsted rating of 'Good', who have been changing children's lives for over 20 years.
We're looking to recruit a passionate and experienced social worker who wants to make a positive impact within fostering. The role is hybrid covering the South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire areas.

Job Description
Role: Supervising Link Worker
Hours: 37 per week
Rate of Pay: Up to £43,000.00 (depending on skills and experience)
Salary includes cover for Out of Hours
Overall Purpose:
The Supervising Link Worker is responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people within quality family placements. This role involves assessing and supporting foster carers, ensuring compliance with National Minimum Standards, and facilitating the successful matching of children with appropriate foster families.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Support: Undertake the recruitment, approval, training, and support functions related to foster carers.
Form F Assessments: Conduct thorough Form F assessments of potential foster carers and present these to the fostering panel within agreed timelines.
Compliance: Ensure that all fostering households comply with the Foster Care Agreement and associated plans.
Child Welfare: Monitor carers' suitability and competence to ensure they provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and learning environment for children.
Support: Provide regular support to carers through telephone calls and home visits.
Safeguarding: Report any incidents, allegations, or suspicions of a Safeguarding Children nature to the Registered Manager and the child's social worker.
Risk Assessments: Complete and monitor risk assessments for foster households.
Collaboration: Work in partnership with all stakeholders involved in a child's plan.
Direct Work: Undertake direct tasks with children or carers as appropriate.
Contact: Promote the child's need for contact as assessed and agreed.
Diversity and Equality: Ensure services provided to children are appropriate to their specific needs and promote diversity and equality.
Matching: Participate in the matching processes and address any gaps identified.
Case Files: Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files for children and carers.
Safeguarding Procedures: Comply with all Safeguarding procedures.
Out of Hours Duty: Undertake out of hours duty as required.
Professional Development: Participate in training and development activities.
Service Development: Contribute to future service developments and quality assurance systems.
Monitoring: Produce key monitoring information.
Equal Opportunities: Comply with equal opportunities policies and procedures.
Marketing: Market the fostering service to Local Authorities.
Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety recommendations are implemented and the safety of all children is protected.
Additional Responsibilities: Represent the organization's values, attend training courses, comply with data protection regulations, attend team meetings, maintain confidentiality, adhere to health and safety responsibilities, and undertake other duties as required
