* Working from details provided with enquiries, generate a concept design / material take off schedule, complying with relevant specifications and standards that is sufficient to enable an estimate to be completed. * Using company tools, process the quotation to generate a quotation value * Using company templates, produce a detailed descriptive quotation and issue to the customer - Update company systems with all quotation activity, such that systems remain live at all times.
* Where appropriate, and as directed by the Sales & Estimating Office Manager, follow up quotations via email and telephone and update relevant systems with the status. * Where requested, attend on and off site meetings or virtual meetings with the customer to ensure the timely progress of enquiries and ensuring the best possible chance of success in securing these. * Review commercial and contractual documentation and negotiate terms in line with company policy * On receipt of an order, raise project folder and all other necessary paperwork, or work with Sales & Estimating Administrator to ensure project folder and all other necessary paperwork is raised accordingly. * Provide expert guidance internally and externally on technical and commercial queries |
