AWS DevOps Engineer

Franklin Bates is working with a global media organisation who are specialists in their niche market and are looking for their first AWS DevOps Engineer to join their expanding Engineering team and lead the DevOps practice.

*This position requires candidates to hold the AWS Certified DevOps Professional certification. Unfortunately any applicants who do not hold this certification will not be considered for this role.*

The successful candidate will be a hands-on, independent AWS-focused DevOps Engineer who has the experience and desire to own small pieces of project work under the guidance of the Head of Engineering, with the view of supporting the growth of the DevOps function.

Essential skills for the AWS DevOps Engineer:

• Solid DevOps background of 6+ years experience in an AWS-focused DevOps position
• Must hold the AWS Certified DevOps Professional certification
• Depth of AWS experience, with exposure to various elements of AWS
• CI/CD pipelines experience
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent

The AWS DevOps Engineer role is offered on a remote working basis, with monthly team get-togethers in London, and is paying up to £75,000 base salary with excellent benefits on top including stock options and equity participation.
