The Opportunity
Given our clients' increased project expansion, they are currently seeking to expand their talented team of process specialists and so are looking for an experienced Team Leader to drive the leadership and direction to the aseptic services unit compounding team, enabling the unit to deliver the highest quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
You will provide leadership and direction and facilitating the management of the UK Limited compounding centre.
Developing the compounding centre internally in line with the company policy, building relationships and trusting to become the leading Homecare provider.
Leading and motivating the operational team and ensuring staff are recruited, engaged and trained to the agreed level of competence.
Carrying out performance data analysis and communicating with all staff..
Contributing and participating as an individual and representative the company in future development and roll out of the company strategy.
Achieving the compounding centre operations directives on a daily, monthly and annual basis.
Setting operational objectives to ensure that activity is delivered on time and to the agreed accredited standard and implementing corrective action when deficiencies arise.
Implementing local and corporate management practices which will enhance the unit's performance.
Managing recruitment, engagement, development, motivation and retention of quality and committed staff
Setting high personal and professional standards in line with company policies.
Assisting in maintaining the Quality Assurance Accreditation Programme, whilst ensuring compliance with the Manufacturing Specials licence and ISO Standards.
Attending management meetings as required and being proactive in all aspects of the relevant activity of the customer.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Degree/Diploma/Higher National Certificate HNC (or equivalent qualification)
Experience in Aseptic or Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices.
Managerial experience with relevant qualification(s).
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
Strong knowledge of GMP requirements.
Ability to drive process changes through to completion.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Excellent people management skills.
Previous management experience.The setting for the role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a pharmaceutical and chemical site. These can include noise, slips, trips and falls (high-gloss floors), mechanical hazards, extreme temperature and humidity, pressurised equipment, radiation, chemical, biological, explosive atmospheres, working at height and confined spaces during cleaning maintenance and repair.
