Job Title: Accounts Manager

Our client is ideally seeking an Accountancy Professional who is currently or has worked within Accountancy practice before and has experience in managing and developing a team.

Main Duties:

* To lead, coach and motivate the Accounts Team

* Supervise and review the bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns prepared by other team members.

* Overseeing the workflow of the Bookkeeping team by reviewing weekly work plans, ensuring they meet deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards

* Drive new business conversions and present proposals to potential clients through strong internal collaboration and external networking

* Confidently utilise software such as Xero, Sage, Dext, QuickBooks, ApprovalMax, and GoProposal, while effectively training team members to use these tools efficiently

* Monitor and review team timesheets weekly

* Collaborate with clients to establish and agree on timelines for submitting bookkeeping and VAT returns

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding bookkeeping services

* Occasionally visit client offices to establish and maintain bookkeeping records and manage quarterly VAT returns

* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
