Quality Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to lead the Quality team for our client and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, aligning with their vision for excellence.

They are open to speaking to candidates with experience, recent graduates, or candidates with a manufacturing background with transferable skills perhaps keen to move into a quality leadership role and someone driven to make a difference.

Excellent opportunity and responsibilities include:

* Deliver and implement the quality control plan for inbound goods inspections.

* Audit and review quality systems to maintain effectiveness and compliance with ISO 9001.

* Support the maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation and contribute to achieving future certifications.

* Analyse and act on the cost of quality to identify opportunities for improvement.

* Collaborate with production teams to implement quality initiatives that reduce costs and enhance performance.

* Facilitate training programmes to build awareness and skills in quality management.

* Lead management reviews, reporting on system performance and identifying areas for enhancement.

In this role, you will be the voice of the customer, ensuring their quality requirements are met at every stage. You will engage directly with them, addressing queries and investigating complaints using structured methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa tools. You'll work collaboratively to promote a customer-focused culture within the organisation, ensuring a consistent commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

You will be supported to play a key role in coaching and developing the team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed. By identifying and addressing training needs, you will help to foster a highly capable and engaged team.
