The Role

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager who will lead a team working on the VMO2 account. This role is responsible for ensuring all staff and projects are aligned to Freshwave's processes, procedures, standards and business strategy as well as being the main contact for our client. This role requires active input into all four areas to ensure staff and the business develop in line or ahead of current industry and market standards and trends.

Requirements

Team Management

  • Resource allocation for internal staff and external contractors in line with project demand.
  • Project review and escalation for all projects in team portfolio.
  • Finance and procurement review and approval for all projects in team portfolio.
  • Project allocation to team members or other teams.
  • Review and approve project and H&S documentation produced by team members.
  • Weekly review of team's project status using online management tool (Perform).

Workstream & Business Management

  • Update and produce weekly/monthly client project status reports with key milestone data, risks and issues.
  • Update and produce monthly project kit stock trackers status updates and flag and action stock issues as necessary.
  • Lead weekly and monthly client update meetings
  • Engage and manage stakeholders across all levels of the department..

Project Management

  • Direct management of projects where necessary including procurement, health & safety, resource allocation, contracts and documentation production.
  • Technical input into non-BAU projects and design proposals.
  • Support internal Sales team and Client with opportunities and risk management.

About you

  • Accredited project management methodology (Agile, PRINCE2, APM, etc).
  • Delivery experience in inbuilding DAS solutions, Small Cells as well as end to end delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Procurement and contract knowledge.
  • Construction health & Safety knowledge. Ideally accredited for construction site management with experience delivering IT infrastructure projects.
  • Good IT literacy with experience utilising Microsoft platform including Dynamics D365, MS Projects, Sharepoint, MS Teams and MS Office (Powerpoint, Word and Excel).
  • Excellent finance and budget experience.
  • Experience working across different infrastructure projects: Stadiums, transport hubs, offices, public areas, etc.
