Head Chef

Head Chef - Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.
- Develop and innovate the menu with authentic Italian recipes, seasonal specials, and creative flair.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.
- Collaborate with management to maintain budgetary goals and optimise kitchen operations.
- Uphold the restaurant's reputation for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Head Chef - Qualifications and Experience: - Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or up-scale Italian restaurant.
- Experience with New Restaurant Openings.
- Deep knowledge of traditional Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavours (Essential).
- Passion for delivering exceptional Italian cuisine with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience leading a large team of different levels.
