Temporary HVAC Technician

Location: Manchester area

Salary: £17 per hour

Bee Happy Recruitment is seeking a motivated and hardworking Entry-Level HVAC Technician for a temporary 6-month position with one of our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will assist with the repair, maintenance, and installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.

Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the removal of old HVAC equipment and the installation of new systems

* Support the running of pipe and duct systems through homes and businesses

* Aid in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints

* Learn and understand refrigeration cycles and how to interpret technical data such as pressure and temperature

* Clean, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems

* Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient solutions

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

Skills and Qualifications:

* Basic understanding of HVAC systems and their components

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Good communication skills to explain repairs and maintenance to customers

* Ability to work in a team and take direction from experienced technicians

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies

Salary:

* £17 per hour

Education and Training Requirements:

* Possession of a valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

* Enrolment in or completion of an HVAC certificate program is preferred but not required

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
