Reed Business Support are recruiting on behalf of a Distribution company based in Leeds, due to continued growth our client is looking to add a Technical Sales Coordinator to join their friendly, family-run business.

This role is ideal for an ambitious, commercially minded individual with experience in sales and customer coordination.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Produce bespoke quotes using a configurator to send detailed drawings to customers
  • Resolve customer queries and technical issues, liaising both internally and directly with our partners in France
  • Place orders for with their French partners and coordinate deliveries to the UK
  • Communicate with customers regarding deliveries and follow up to convert previous quotes
  • Utilise HubSpot to manage quotes and the sales pipeline
  • Maintain and develop relationships with Installation partners
  • Protect key accounts from competitor influence
  • Provide feedback and communicate issues to management
  • Visit our partners in France for sales meetings and accompany customers once or twice a year
  • Build relationships with new customers, understand their needs, and convert quotes to orders
  • Identify market changes and trends, communicating these insights to partners and management
  • Make outbound calls to warm leads and manage incoming enquiries
  • Research the market to identify and target new customers, including installation partners, and convert these opportunities into sales
  • Support the faulty returns process, liaising with manufacturers and customers, and keeping the ticketing system up to date
  • Develop specialist technical product knowledge of gate hardware, automation products, access control equipment, and intercoms
  • Provide cover for colleagues during holidays and sickness as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Coordinator is desirable
  • Commercially minded with the ability to generate and follow up on quotes
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coordinate production and delivery of orders
  • Research skills and the ability to identify market trends
