Finance Manager - 3 direct reports

Our client is a respected not for profit company based in Bradford who are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and communities across the UK. They are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to join our team and ensure the effective management of our financial resources.
Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic decision-making. The role involves managing a small team of 3 direct reports, preparing financial reports, and guiding the charity's financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly management accounts
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with charity laws.
- Manage cash flow and provide financial analysis for senior management.
- Ensure proper handling of restricted and unrestricted funds.
- Lead and develop a small team of 3 finance staff.
- Support external audits and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
- Advise senior leadership and the board on financial strategy and risk management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in finance management, ideally in the charity sector.
- Knowledge of charity accounting, SORP, and governance requirements.
- Experience with financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
