Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: West Derby, Liverpool

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

Prospero Teaching are currently working with a fantastic school who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant in a mainstream secondary school in the Liverpool area to work on a 1:1 basis.

The post requires a passionate Teaching Assistant who can take the lead in supporting the pupils personal targets and promoting positive behaviour.

Applicants must have either least NQV level 2 qualified or have a minimum of 6 months experience working with young people. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.

All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with Prospero Teaching. Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks.

The role will include:

* Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
* Working with students who require specialist support
* Leading group work
* Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
