Salary: £150 - £290/day

A leading secondary school in Tameside, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and student development, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join our dynamic team. The school has a strong focus on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons to students aged 11-18.

* Develop and implement engaging schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.

* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.

* Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development activities.

* Support students' extracurricular activities related to business and enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in Business Studies or a related subject.

* Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level.

* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business Studies.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to inspire and motivate students.

* Commitment to continuous professional development.

You must have the right to work, and be willing to obtain/provide the following:

• Proof of ID

• Proof of Address

• Enhanced DBS on the update service

• Overseas Police Check (if required)

• References covering 24 months of employment.
