Right Now Group are recruiting for a unique Opportunity. Our client is looking for a Brokerage Coordinator.

You will be joining a Large sized Freight Forwarder; you will be responsible auditing entries and ensuring customs clearance procedures are followed correctly. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Air Freight Operations.

Duties of a Air Freight Coordinator:

• Utilise the company portal to ensure clearance instructions are correct
• Provide clearance instructions to external Customs Brokers
• Prepare and provide all necessary documentation to external Customs Brokers
• Audit entries submitted by the Customs Broker to ensure all procedures are correct
• Submit occasional import/export entries of your own
• Serve as the main point of contact for external Customs Brokers

Requirements of a Brokerage Coordinator:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experienced in Air Freight Operations specifically in Customs Compliance
• Full 5-year checkable work history and DBS
• A strong understanding of customs tariffs
• A level of flexibility is required

Additional Information & Benefits:

• Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (+ 10% shift allowance)
• Hours: 4 on 4 off / 07:00 - 19:00 (+ occasional overtime)

• Performance Scheme - Should the company achieve their targets; a quarterly bonus will be paid to all staff. This ranges from £1,000 - £2,500 per quarter currently and is paid once the candidate passes probation.
