Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and possess the skills necessary to lead a team effectively. This role involves ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, managing materials handling, and maintaining a safe working environment.

SHIFT : Monday to Friday 14:00pm - 22:30pm (these may be subject to change in accordance with business needs)

PAY RATE : £13.85 per hour

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates in the warehouse management system.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for safety, efficiency, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
• Assist with heavy lifting and movement of products as required.
• Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to streamline processes and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

Requirements

- Experience in managing people and leading a team of warehouse staff.

- Hold a valid Forklift Truck Licence
- Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is desirable
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including heavy lifting
- Strong organisational skills to manage stock efficiently
