Art Teacher (full time, part time, long and short term contracts) opportunity - Secondary School - Oxford
Are you a qualified Art Teacher or Art Specialist looking for work within secondary schools in Oxford?
Academics Ltd are working with an outstanding school in Oxford who are looking to appoint an Art teacher to join them from January 2025. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management. This is also a great opportunity for ECT's looking for their first teaching role.
The school are looking for a Art Teacher who -
- Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management,
- Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive Art lessons to students of all abilities.
- Is interested in the science of learning and is committed to continuous improvement,
- Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life,
- Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our students.
Art Teacher Requirements -
- Degree in Art or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS.
- Experience with online teaching platforms.
- Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum and teaching techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
