Xpert Resourcing has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry to facilitate their ever-growing operation.

Our client, who are a global manufacturing company are looking to for a Maintenance Planner and Stores Coordinator to join their busy factory on a permanent basis near Sawston.

Duties:

* Develop a maintenance strategy that guarantees the efficient completion of all tasks.

* Make sure the system precisely predicts and creates work orders within feasible timeframes.

* Assist with machine history to identify key areas for investigation.

* Manage the day-to-day stock

* Ensure pre-kitting is carried out for all major planned maintenance tasks, and that all parts required are available.

* Proactively seek to lower the yearly expenses on spare parts by exploring alternative suppliers and negotiating for price discounts.

Skills Required:

* Computer literacy and high proficiency in major IT tools including Maintenance Management systems (e.g. SAP, MS Office).

* Exposure to a maintenance environment or equivalent in the chemical sector, pharmaceutical, biochemical is advantageous.

* Proven track record of manufacturing/maintenance planning.

Working Hours/Pay:

* 37.5 hours per week

* Monday - Friday, hours to be discussed, depending on availability
