We are working with a growing but well established M&E Contractor with a group turnover of £80m who are major players in the commercial, life sciences and healthcare sectors across the UK and Ireland who are looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join their growing London business unit.

You will be tasked with joining one of their newly won large scale commercial buildings in Central London. They have 5 new projects they have recently secured, you will be involved on a £26m M&E value university building near Holborn Station, the project is imminently going to site and will have 2-3 years of work.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing and motivating mechanical subcontractors and teams

* Overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services

* Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.

* Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc.

* Manage project-specific scheduling.

* Communicate changes to the Project team.

* Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.

The company in question have a large order book of interesting projects and are attracting experienced staff from larger contractors due to their established reputation. This is an opportunity to get a foot in the door with a dynamic contractor who are experiencing a period of growth with a focus on staff development and progression.
