Description

As Production Manager you will be tasked with the following;

Communicating with our existing client base in order to update them on timescales and managing their expectations
Oversee and manage production processes and operations within the Engineering & Manufacturing department
Ensure product quality and adherence to industry standards
Implement production schedules and manage deadlines
Collaborate with other departments to optimise operations
Lead, develop and motivate production team
Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company
Report on production performance and metricsProfile

The successful Production Manager will have the following qualities;

Highly driven and possess strong leadership, organisational and planning skills.
Strong engineering background
Sound understanding of lean manufacturing.
Previous management experience of medium sized teams - chargehand, foreman, shift leaders etc. will be considered.
Man management experience - ability to get the best out of your team and mentor / coach others and develop their capabilities
