Salary: £50000 - £60000/annum

Job Function:

* Develop the engineering configuration of the UPS system with the client once passed over from sales.

* Manage the delivery of the UPS project from sales handover to commissioning and handover to the client of a live system.

* Control the supply chain to ensure compliance with programme, costs and specification.

Project Manager

Execute Successful turnkey capital projects from sales handover through to completion, to the satisfaction of customers, to programme and to budget, typically various size UPS systems from 40kVA to multiple MW systems.

This position includes, but is not limited to the following requirements:

Project

* Delivering technical engineering solutions to suit as a project evolves.

* Drawing preparation & working with internal technical authority as appropriate.

* Conformance with contractual deliverables.

* Issue Technical submission as appropriate.

* Manage the contract through the issue of RFI's TQ's, EWN's, CI's etc.

* Attend Customer meetings when required.

* Carry out site inspections during the installation period.

* Provide project support to the field staff as required.

* Prepare monthly reporting on projects under your control.

* H&S - CDM compliance for all projects.

* Manage external supply chain and site installation works.

* Ensure that all company policies and procedures are supported and adhered to.

* Liaise with internal departments as required.

Commercial

* Take P & L responsibility for capital projects.

* Provide Invoicing forecasts and budgets for capital projects.

* Placing of orders for equipment and other services necessary for the projects.

* Ensure suppliers are contracted against appropriate terms and all the requirements of the main contracts are passed downstream to subcontractors as required.

* Keeping accurate financial records.

* Maximising the profitability and commercial position of all capital equipment projects.

* Invoices and applications are managed on time and tracked for the specific contract for both suppliers and client.

* Variations are managed, documented and tracked to the specific contract for both suppliers and client.

* Reports are generated against schedules to demonstrate the above.

* Work closely with the management Accountant to ensure all project costs are captured timely fashion and documented through the company systems.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

* Electrical / Electronic Engineering (min. HNC/HND level).

* Site health and safety.

* Commercial experience.

* Effective planning, organization and communication skills
