A Head of Procurement : needed to head up the Procurement & TPRM functions within a financial services company. The successful candidate will steer procurement strategy, develop and implement TPRM, and manage supplier relationships to ensure procurement best practice, regulatory compliance, and supply chain optimisation.

Description
- Develop and implement the procurement and category strategy.
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively.
- Monitor procurement processes and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the Procurement & Supply Chain team.
- Collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategy with company goals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Oversee risk management within the procurement process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and apply best procurement practices.
Profile
Head of Procurement
- A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- MCIPS - ideally
- 10+yrs experience in a managerial procurement role within the financial services industry.
- 15yrs in procurement with TPRM and supplychain governance experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- High level stakeholder management [internally and externally]
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Sound understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.
