Job Opportunity - Finance Systems Officer - 12 Month Contract - South East England

One of my local Government clients based in the South East of England are currently on the lookout for a Finance Systems Officer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for anyone with a Finance Officer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable background looking to advance their expertise within a different area of Finance such as systems.

Finance Systems Officer

Contract Length: 12 Months

Location: South East England

Pay Rate: £15-£20 p/h (rate negotiable)

IR35: Inside.

Hours: 28 hours p/w

Start Date: ASAP

Hybrid working: X2 days in office p/w

As a result of an audit review there has been needed changes highlighted mostly around the council's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable systems.

You will be expected to:

Make changes to invoice payments.
Set up key users on the system.
Make proactive changes to the system.
Consult and communicate with an external IT body.

Successful candidates will:

Essential - Be AAT or have A Levels in Maths and/or IT.
Essential - Have experience working in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
Desirable - Have local government experience
