The CompanyWe are pleased to be supporting a global logistics business with a base in the North East in their search for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support the warehouse team.The RoleThe main focus areas of this role are:

• To ensure that all aspects of inbound and outbound warehousing are managed effectively and efficiently
• Take overall responsibility for ensuring agreed Service Levels, Inventory and Budget targets are met.
• People management forms a huge part of this role, managing and motivating the team and playing a part in the wider business.
• Proactively drive existing continuous improvement projects, as well as instigating your own 

The Person

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements and work flexibly as needed.
• Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management practices is desirable.
• Proven track record of driving teams to achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in developing and training team members.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
