The Role

They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of a multi-story commercial building project in York, from inception to completion. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader to play a key role in the delivery of complex, high-value construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the York scheme, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Team Management: Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders.

* Planning & Programming: Develop and manage detailed project plans, monitoring progress and proactively addressing challenges.

* Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Delivery: Take the project from groundworks through to handover, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.

About You

They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who brings:

* A proven track record of successfully delivering commercial or multi-story building projects from start to finish.

* Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple stakeholders.

* Excellent communication and decision-making capabilities.

* A thorough understanding of construction processes, programming, and health & safety requirements.

* Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent, and/or professional memberships (e.g., CIOB, APM).

* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
