Security Guard

• Reports to: Head of Estates
• Location: Oxford
• Salary: £25,000-£28,000
• Type: Full-time

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Oxford.You must be able to start ASAP, and have an Enhanced DBS!

Main Duties

• Conduct tours to encourage lanyard use and respectful behaviour.
• Supervise behaviour across designated areas.
• Monitor common rooms during break times.
• Handle incidents involving unauthorized individuals on campus.
• Build rapport with individuals, reporting those at risk to the safeguarding team.
• Report breaches of a code of conduct.
• Communicate regularly with the Safeguarding and Tutorial Team to maintain a safe culture.

Requirements

• Security experience
• Able to start ASAP
• Enhanced DBS
• Full rights to work in the UK
• No previous convictions
