Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm - Hybrid working possible

Duties to Include:

* Program, set-up and run a variety of CNC Machines to produce precision component from a variety of materials.

* Ensure appropriate machining techniques and procedures are followed.

* Work with the R&D and manufacturing team to support all machining related activities.

* Ensure quality of product meets manufacturing drawings by using metrology tools to validate tolerances and standards.

* Carry out preventative maintenance routines.

Skills/Requirements required:

* Experience in 5-axis programming with consideration for minimising downtime.

* Experience working with micron level precision for setup and machining.

* An understanding of engineering drawings and implementing appropriate machining methods.

* Experience with Fanuc/Haas control systems.

* A working knowledge of CAD/CAM software - preferably Solidworks and MasterCAM

* Minimum 5 years experience in a machine shop environment.

* Apprenticeship trained or similar experience considered.
