ASD Teaching Assistant - Barnet - Full-Time - £95-115pd - January 2025

Vision Teaching are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Barnet who are looking for a long-term ASD Teaching Assistant to start in January 2025. This role will be to work with a child with ASD, on a full-time basis. This role will be working with a Year 3 child. The working hours are from 08:30-15:30, Monday to Friday.

ASD Teaching Assistant

This role is with an OFSTED rated “Good” primary school in Barnet, who provide education to around 450 children aged between 3 and 11. The school are currently progressing towards obtaining an “Outstanding” rating in their next inspection.

The school do not offer on-site parking, however, they offer fantastic transport links, with stations being within a 10 minute walk of the school.

ASD Teaching Assistant

This role will be working in a 1:1 capacity with a Year 4 pupil with ASD needs. This ASD Teaching Assistant role will begin in January and will likely continue until the end of the academic year. Within the classroom, there is a group of 27 children, and currently have an additional classroom SEN Teaching Assistant supporting the Class Teacher.

The school are not able to offer sponsorship for this, so the successful applicant will be required to be UK based, and have a valid enhanced DBS subscribed to the Update Service.
