Teacher of Technology (KS3-KS5)
Location: Walsall

We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Technology to work across KS3-KS5. We will only consider candidates who specialise in Technology.

Position Overview:
As a Teacher of Technology, you will inspire and educate the next generation of creative thinkers and innovators. Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing and delivering an engaging Technology curriculum in line with state standards.

* Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to hands-on learning.

* Encouraging and promoting group projects as well as independent learning, assisting students with problem-solving and design thinking.

* Identifying students who require additional support and tailoring teaching methods accordingly.

* Supporting and planning classroom activities, ensuring that students have access to the necessary resources and equipment.

* Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to during practical lessons and workshops.

* Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure students maintain appropriate behaviour and achieve their full potential.

* Providing constructive feedback to help students develop technical and creative skills.

* Staying up-to-date with advancements in technology and teaching methodologies, incorporating innovative approaches into lessons.

* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, creativity, and a love for learning.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Requirements:

* Valid DBS Check

* Bachelor's degree in Technology Education, Design Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

* Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience.

* Previous experience working with children (preferred).

* Excellent communication skills.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.

* QTS in the UK.

* Willing to relocate or commute to Walsall.

* A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with students.

* Empathy and problem-solving skills for addressing student challenges effectively
