Job Title: Site Person in Charge (SPC) - London Underground Works

Job Description:
We are seeking a Site Person in Charge (SPC) to lead a gang of civil operatives and labourers for long-term London Underground works. The successful candidate must be SPC certified and willing to transition to the primary sponsor. The role requires hands-on supervision, ensuring safety compliance, efficiency, and quality control on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage a gang of civil operatives and labourers.

*

Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with London Underground standards.

*

Maintain compliance with site regulations and safety procedures.

*

Coordinate daily tasks and oversee engineering-hour operations.

*

Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.

*

Liaise with project managers and other key stakeholders.

*

Complete necessary documentation and reports.

Required Certifications & Tickets:

*

SPC Certified (Site Person in Charge) - Ideally with FORS to drive a van

*

ICI / Sentinel Card

*

Drug & Alcohol (D&A) Test Clearance

*

Face Fit Certification

*

Manual Handling Certification

*

Small Tools / Power Tools Training

*

L&E (Lifting & Excavation) - Nice to Have

Additional Requirements:

*

Ability to lead and manage a team efficiently.

*

Previous experience in London Underground or rail projects.

*

Willingness to transfer to the primary sponsor.

*

Strong understanding of safety regulations and site protocols.
