Salary: Up to £45k + 15% Shift Premium + 25% Nights premium  | Permanent Nights: £56k

Working Hours:

3 week rotational shift 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM & 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM & 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic and progressive business within the manufacturing sector. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines through both reactive and planned maintenance, along with the opportunity to manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance within a production environment

Fault-finding and troubleshooting on PLCs and machinery

Undertake reactive breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance (PPM)

Lead a small team, managing day-to-day operations and taking on key responsibilities in decision-making

Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency

Ideal Candidate for the Maintenance Engineer:

Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or production setting

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Experience with PLCs and troubleshooting

Previous team leadership experience would be a distinct advantage
