Male SEN Teaching Assistant Position AvailableLocation: Kidderminster Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeHours: 08.45 - 15.15About the Role:Aspire is seeking a compassionate and skilled male SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.This role is a temp to perm for the right candidate Responsibilities:* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.* Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.* Work closely with teachers to modify and adapt classroom activities and materials.* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere.* Support students in developing social skills and emotional well-being.* Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals regarding student progress and needs.* Participate in staff meetings and training sessions focused on SEN strategies and best practices.Qualifications:* MUST HAVE Experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions is preferred.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of students.* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.Benefits:* The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with SEN.* Professional development and training opportunities in SEN support.* A supportive and collaborative working environment.* Competitive pay* Flexible to do either full time OR part timeHow to Apply:If you are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and believe you have the skills and experience required for this role, we would love to hear from you.
