Description

Keep track of resource needs for the short, medium, and long term.
Work with transport planners daily to adjust resources for maximum efficiency and customer service.
Ensure enough resources are available to meet client needs.
Approve driver holiday and absence requests.
Plan ahead to cover driver shortages with overtime, relocation, or subcontractors.
Communicate with clients about upcoming resource needs.
Build strong relationships with transport planners and drivers to improve coordination.

Profile

A successful Transport Resource Manager should have:

Experience in managing resources or planning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
