We are seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join a fantastic primary school located on the outskirts of Lancaster. This role involves covering classes across KS1 and KS2 for the Autumn and Spring terms, with a possible extension depending on requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is looking for a flexible role with the potential for ongoing support and development.
Day-to-day of the role: - Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 to ensure continuity of education during teacher absences.
- Adapting teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning abilities.
- Providing feedback on student progress and maintaining classroom discipline.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
- Engaging with students to foster a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Excellent knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar PPA or cover teacher role is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching style to meet the needs of various classes and year groups.
