For our team in Warrington we are looking for a JV Accountant who will complete the financial processing, monthly reporting and tax compliance work for the Joint Venture and will be a trusted advisor and custodian of the financial numbers.

Your responsibilities:

Monthly reporting

* Manage the month end closure process on SAGE

* Preparation of the financial management reports for review and discussion with the JV team

* Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations

* Ad hoc analysis and query resolution

* Provide required audit support as needed

Financial processing

* Processing and matching of purchase invoices

* Resolving purchase invoice queries

* Processing of subcontractor application forms

* Processing bank payments

* Sales invoicing and coding of sales receipts

* Completion of bank reconciliations

Tax compliance

* Completion of CIS returns

* Completion of VAT returns

Requirements

* Qualified accountant

* Strong system skills - Excel and accounting packages

* Excellent planning and organisational skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to prioritise workload to deliver results within timescales
