Are you an experienced engineer with a background in civil or mechanical engineering? Do you have a good grasp of quantity surveying, and have you worked on infrastructure projects? We're looking for a talented Specialist Contractor to join our close-knit team, focusing on projects within the London Underground network.

About the Role: Based at our Canary Wharf office, this role will involve providing surveying support for various London Underground projects. You'll be joining a small, collaborative team that values each member's contribution and fosters a supportive work environment. With plenty of hands-on training, ongoing support, and professional development opportunities, this role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide commercial / engineering expertise on London Underground projects

* Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring value and efficiency

* Contractual expertise, utilising the NEC contracts to maximise efficiency and opportunities

* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet technical and safety standards

* Contribute to project planning and cost estimation with quantity surveying insights

Requirements:

* Qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng, MEng, or equivalent)

* At least 2 years of experience in civil and/or mechanical engineering, ideally with exposure to quantity surveying

* Knowledge and experience working on infrastructure projects, especially within the London Underground or similar settings

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
