Are you a Business Analyst with technical experience and a knack for working with software development teams?
Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative business solutions and process improvements. Working closely with stakeholders, project managers, and both front-end and back-end development teams, you will ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and met.
This role offers a hybrid work model, with 2 days a week in the office, which is based in central Liverpool.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Process Mapping: Develop detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to visualise current and future state processes.
- Business Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
- Business Cases: Prepare thorough business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments.
- Implementation Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business solutions.

What You'll Need:
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent analytic skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in process mapping and workflow diagramming tools.
- Good experience working with software development teams and solid technical experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with data tools and the ability to read SQL.
