Job Title: Charge Nurse

Location: East Dunbartonshire

Salary: Up to £40,892 depending on experience.

NMC Registration and pin, with experience working as a nurse is essential for this position.

Compass Associates are partnering with a UK leading care home operator, in the search for a Charge Nurse to join their existing team, based within a medium sized care home, in East Dunbartonshire!

As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee the care of all residents in your area of the care home. Duties will include administering prescribed medicines, conducting resident visits, and keeping accurate records in line with statutory legal requirements, always prioritising resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the care of residents and ensure their well-being.

* Manage the home in the absence of senior management.

* Administer prescribed medicines and maintain records.

* Mentor colleagues and provide support as a practice supervisor.

* Advocate for person-centred care and deliver high-quality support to residents and their families.

* Ensure safeguarding standards are met and address concerns appropriately.

Essential Qualifications:

* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.

* A commitment to professional standards of practice.

* Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Ability to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect.

* Skilled Worker visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates with 2 years of experience, currently residing in the UK.
