FTC 6 Months£55,000Milton Keynes - Hybrid WorkingMy client is seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to support their expanding reporting needs. The role involves implementing a new platform for it’s Workforce business. About the role: The role will be to understand this pricing model, document it in a way that supports the wider business and then for the person in this role to support the project in this area. The support will include:

• Extracting data from the legacy system and interrogate and manipulate it in Excel (additional calculations and formatting) to make it easy to import into the new system
• Validating the data & calculations when others perform that process, i.e. one person does the manipulation another checks the completeness and vice-versa
• Testing the data in the new platform to ensure it is correct
• Working with the Technology and Finance teams to validate weekly invoicing runs and monthly financial processes related to this data

Working more widely across the project team to understand and support the schedule of the customer migrations, i.e. performing data work as needed by the scheduleEssential skills:

• A finance person by background and training, but not essential 
• Have a good understanding of pricing and how that leads to revenue and margins
• Have an excellent Excel skills
• Have a really good attention to detail regarding data, i.e. checking what you’ve done
• Have worked on the implementation of new financial or order to cash systems and used to working in a project environment.
• Have a strong mathematical background
