Our client Our client offers high-quality, digitally enabled rolling stock solutions that contribute hugely towards the success of Britain's railways. They not only own and lease new rolling stock vehicles but also offer asset management which is focussed on driving performance, safety and suitability for the asset's life span. Our client has over 100 Engineers and Fleet Support staff working directly on their passenger fleets, alongside key Relationship Managers, who hold a deep understanding of their customers' requirements with their existing fleets and investment opportunities into new rolling stock. You will be responsible for: * Supporting the Senior Commercial Delivery Manager with managing the interface process of delivering lease, customer or strategic requirements* Management of specific allocated requirements, ensuring that business areas are well informed that they have appropriately prepared and planned to deliver on customer commitments* Representing the investment team at internal meetings such as project reviews and deliverability assessments * Take ownership of specific lease, customer or strategic requirements and manage the handover from investment to the wider business * Provide additional engineering and project support for example, new build acquisitions and pricing of current fleets and freight team activities* Partake in regular fleet reviews and strategies to identify opportunities to maximise revenue* Support colleagues with the maintenance of strategic stakeholder relationshipsGeneral requirements: * Professional qualifications in some form of engineering, preferably mechanical/electrical* Previous Engineering knowledge and experience* A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and overhaul requirements * Awareness of safety cases, certification issues, railway risks and industry legislation * Ability to understand Engineering drawings * Project management experience is desirableContact Information Email: Due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
