Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee a team of litigation fee earners, providing guidance, support, and technical assistance as needed.

* Act as the key point of contact for complex legal queries, particularly relating to the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and Part 8 proceedings.

* Lead the recruitment process for new team members, ensuring that high-caliber professionals are brought on board. Manage the onboarding process to integrate new staff effectively into the team.

* Maintain a thorough understanding of ongoing litigated files, ensuring that all cases are managed efficiently and deadlines are consistently met.

* Build and maintain strong relationships both internally within the firm and externally with clients and stakeholders.

* Identify areas for professional development within your team.

Ideal Candidate:

* c. 4 years of experience in managing a team and handling litigated files, particularly within Housing Conditions/Disrepair.

* Experience with the Proclaim Case Management System is advantageous.

* Extensive knowledge of the CPR, including Part 8 proceedings. Familiarity with Housing Conditions/Disrepair is essential.

* Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
