Join our team as CPD Programme Executive.

The ICAEW CPD Programming & Operations team, part of the wider Academy of Professional Development team, delivers a comprehensive curriculum of CPD courses and programmes reflecting our commitment, as a world leader of the accountancy and finance profession, to high quality professional development, rigorous standards, and leading-edge training

Overall purpose of this role of CPD Programme Executive

The ICAEW Academy of Professional Development aims to champion excellence in financial learning and development and encourages a diverse workplace through our specialist courses.

The key focus of this role is to:

  • deliver the public CPD programme liaising with trainers and delegates, opening courses, doing roll call, co-ordinating feedback etc.
  • assist with the planning and set up of 150+ training dates within the Academy Public Course Team ensuring that courses are scheduled at optimum times of year to maximise delegate attendance and profitability.

This role sits within the wider ICAEW Commercial Team and is an excellent opportunity to be part of a busy and growing business area.

The successful candidate needs to be analytical and organised with great attention to detail, have a positive 'can do' attitude and be keen to build relationships with our trainers and delegates.

CPD Programme Executive Responsibilities include:

Programme Management

  • Day to day responsibility of Virtual Classroom Programme - working with trainers and being first point of contact for delegates.
  • Work with the Senior CPD Executive to build the schedule of training with the aim of growing the business and meeting financial targets.
  • Set up and maintain feedback forms. Ensure that trainers encourage delegates to complete them and circulate them to the team and trainers post event - flagging any complaints, referrals for inhouse training etc. to the relevant stakeholders to help the team gain insight that helps us better understand and grow the public course business.
  • Assist with the cancellation of courses by liaising with delegates and the Events Support team to ensure delegates are transferred to new dates seamlessly.
  • Raise POs in accordance with negotiated contracted rates for trainer and delivery suppliers. Ensuring these are processed promptly to ensure trainers are paid timeously.
  • Keep meticulous records of training delivered to assist with accurate reporting.

Client & Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with our trainers and delivery partners.
  • Work with the Programme team to effectively manage relationships and maintain engagement with facilitators and other suppliers.
  • Assist the Programme team with producing content for the Academy Newsletter

Academy Content/ Product Management

  • Collaborate with the Academy Programme team to streamline, track and improve the quality of our content and materials.
  • Collaborate with other teams across the ICAEW to ensure we're cross-promoting our products and thought-leadership.

Team Dynamics

  • Partner and collaborate with the teams within the Academy, ensuring processes are aligned, efficient and effective.
  • Having a commercial mind-set and effectively contribute to the growth plans of the Academy.
  • Positively engage with the teams and wider stakeholders who operate or have an interest in the Academy.

Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.

  • Strong and clear communication
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc), Zoom plus experience of using databases.
