About The Role

As a Shift Manager in the Ambient Section, you'll play a critical role in leading and motivating our Team Managers and Warehouse Colleagues to ensure the right products are picked quickly and efficiently - so our stores can be stocked and our customers happy. It's a fast-moving, ever-changing role - but for those who thrive on a challenge, it's the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Oversee shift activities and manage your team's performance, from scheduling rotas to meeting labour requirements.
Resource Management: Ensure the efficient use of resources, delivering on daily objectives with a focus on maximizing productivity.
Cost Control: Monitor operational resource spend to maintain budget targets while achieving operational goals.
Problem Solving & Coaching: Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to your teams, ensuring they have the support to overcome challenges quickly and efficiently.
Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, performance, and productivity.
Team Development: Focus on the development and performance of your Team Managers, ensuring they have the tools and skills needed for success.

About You

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in managing teams in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
A proactive mind set with a focus on continuous improvement
