Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £135 - £155 Per day

Job Duties:

Supervising students in the absence of a teacher
Managing the classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment
Following lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
Dealing with any behavioural issues that may arise
Reporting back on student progress to the relevant staff

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle challenging situations effectively

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role in an educational setting
Knowledge of classroom management techniques
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

Higher education qualification in a relevant subject area
Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

Working hours may vary based on the school's schedule
May require standing for extended periods

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
